Learn how your habits around difficult emotions may be helping or hurting you, and explore practical ways to relate to feelings with more wisdom and intention.
Description: We all develop habits around emotions. Some feelings we amplify and get swept away by. Others we minimize, avoid, judge, or disconnect from entirely. Over time, these emotional habits shape how we respond to stress, conflict, relationships, and ourselves.
In this Intentional Living Circle, we will explore our patterns around three core emotional experiences: disconnection, anger, and fear. This includes experiences such as shame, rejection, frustration, irritation, anxiety, and avoidance. You will be invited to reflect on how you relate to these feelings, what stories or judgments you carry about them, and the strategies you use to avoid, suppress, or intensify them.
Through guided reflection and discussion, we will become more aware of our emotional habits and explore healthier ways of relating to inner experiences. Rather than being controlled by these patterns or pushing feelings away, we will learn to develop a more grounded, compassionate, and honest relationship with the emotions in our lives.
This Intentional Living Circle event is part of Connecting You with Yourself (CYWY).
